I’m so happy you’re here!
Are you an entrepreneur who knows they need tech to build and grow their online business but has no idea where to start? I’ve been there, too.
Maybe you have a website but it doesn’t look quite the way you want it to and you can’t seem to figure out how to change it. Do you wonder where the email addresses disappear to when people sign up to receive your newsletter? Have you set up tools that are supposed to help people schedule appointments with you, but you’re not 100% confident you'd know if someone did?
If any of this rings a bell, you’ve come to the right place. And guess what? I’ve been in your shoes before, too. In 2013 I earned my health and wellness coaching certification and was so excited to leave the corporate world to start my own business to help others live healthier lives. In 2014, I started a business as a health and wellness coach but only knew the bare minimum when it came to technology. I had no idea how to build a website, create a landing page (or what a landing page was for that matter) or set up email campaigns, so I hired someone to do all of this and more for me.
The problem was, the person I hired didn’t take the time to get to know me, listen as I shared my pain points or know what I was trying to accomplish through my business. She just did the tech without taking the bigger picture into account and she certainly didn’t provide any guidance around how technology could support me in creating both a profitable and sustainable business.
Needless to say, I ended up returning to the corporate world a year after leaving. Although I learned a lot of valuable lessons, my dream of being my own boss, doing work that fulfills me and getting to choose clients I actually wanted to work with was dead.
In the years that have come and gone since I dissolved my first business, I’ve expanded my technical skill set by working at two Silicon Valley start ups, including a digital health company, and the second consulting firm of my career. I also took some time away from the corporate world to travel and reflect on all aspects of my life. During that time, I found myself having a strong desire to help others while doing work that is fulfilling, challenging and meaningful.
For these reasons I’ve decided to use what I’ve learned from working for 13+ years in the corporate world, including 4 years in the San Francisco Bay Area, the epicenter of tech advancement, to help other entrepreneurs leverage technology to make their businesses profitable and sustainable while also making the world a better place.
I do this by helping fellow online business owners put in place the technical infrastructure needed to create their sales and marketing funnel. If you’re wondering what exactly that means, it involves activities like building websites, creating landing pages and setting up email campaigns, to name a few. (In fact, I outline everything you need to take your business from zero to thriving in my Biz Tech Checklist. Contact me for a FREE copy - I’m happy to share!) The bottom line is, I use technology to enable and empower entrepreneurs to have the freedom to support themselves by being their own boss.
I believe that you don’t have to be super tech savvy to run a profitable online business as long as you understand the value of investing in tech that can help you simplify and streamline your business processes so you come off looking like the polished professional that you are. I also believe that we need to leverage whatever it is we’re good at to support each other in making the world better. Thank you for allowing me to do that for you.
I live in San Diego, California, USA where I enjoy spending time with my adorable nephews, meditating on the beach and teaching yoga. I also love hiking, running, soccer, any sort of spa/self-care activity…and planning my next vacation!
